Total time
Author: Anne Papina
Recipe type: Main
Cuisine: American
Serves: 6
- 8-9 chicken pieces, washed & dried
- 2 tbsp Italian seasoning (salt free)
- 2 tsp garlic powder or granulated garlic
- ½ tsp crushed red peppers
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 1½ cup white wine (I use Rossi chablis)
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Arrange chicken pieces skin side up in roasting pan.
- Sprinkle with half of seasonings, then turn over.
- Pour white wine evenly over chicken pieces.
- Sprinkle with remaining seasonings.
- Bake for 30 minutes, then turn pieces over, and bake for an additional 40 minutes or until golden brown.
For this recipe, I used a combination of chicken legs, thighs, and wings. If roasting white meat, the cooking time may need to be adjusted slightly.
