Chicken Roasted with White Wine

This savory chicken is roasted with white wine, garlic, and Italian seasonings; a perfect dish for Sunday Supper or any night.

  • 8-9 chicken pieces, washed & dried
  • 2 tbsp Italian seasoning (salt free)
  • 2 tsp garlic powder or granulated garlic
  • ½ tsp crushed red peppers
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 1½ cup white wine (I use Rossi chablis)
  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Arrange chicken pieces skin side up in roasting pan.
  3. Sprinkle with half of seasonings, then turn over.
  4. Pour white wine evenly over chicken pieces.
  5. Sprinkle with remaining seasonings.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, then turn pieces over, and bake for an additional 40 minutes or until golden brown.
For this recipe, I used a combination of chicken legs, thighs, and wings. If roasting white meat, the cooking time may need to be adjusted slightly.
