Green Beans with Slivered Garlic
Green beans are blanched then tossed with olive oil, slivered garlic and crushed red pepper.

  • ½ lb French green beans
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, slivered
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  1. Blanch green beans in boiling water for about 2 minutes. Drain.
  2. In a large saute garlic and crushed red pepper in the olive oil until garlic starts to brown.
  3. Toss with green beans.
  4. Salt & pepper to taste.
