  • 1½ cups milk
  • ½ stick butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and grated

  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 6 tablespoons apple cider
  • 2 tablespoons half & half

  4. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spoon bread mixture into a well greased 10-inch cast-iron skillet or a 7x11-inch baking dish. Bake for 1 hour or until a wooden pick, inserted into the center, comes out clean. Serve warm with Apple Cider Glaze. Serves 6.
