Mango Moscato Sorbet

This mango sorbet is creamy smooth with a little zip of Moscato and ideal on a warm summer's day or any day really.

  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • 1½ lbs cubed mango
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • ½ cup Gallo Moscato Wine, chilled
  • Pinch salt
  1. Heat the sugar and water in a small saucepan, stirring until the sugar is all melted. Allow this to cool completely, then chill.
  2. Place the mango in the bowl of a food processor, and process until completely pureed.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the simple syrup, the mango, lime juice, wine, and a dash of salt.
  4. Transfer to an ice cream maker and prepare according to the manufacturer's directions.
