This is great served over steaks, mashed potatoes, or even to eat alone.
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2-3 cloves garlic, sliced
- ½ lbs shitake mushrooms, washed & sliced
- ¼ cup dry vermouth
- salt & pepper to taste
- In a large skillet, sauté garlic over medium heat.
- As edges start to brown, add mushrooms, and sauté mushrooms until cooked.
- Pour dry vermouth over mushrooms, and cook until most of the liquid has evaporated.
- Salt & pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
